This is a charming old theater with plenty of parking in the lot and nearby. A word to the wise though - the parking meters on adjacent streets only accept change! My family and I brought my nephews here to see Puff the Magic Dragon, and we all had a great time. The play was about an hour long - which was a perfect length for the children. It kept their attention the whole time, and at the end the actors were available for photos and autographs. It was very well organized and a fun family experience.

My school went here to see a play.... The theater was small but elegant even though it lacked adequate seating. The adults sat in the theater seats ..kids on the floor and some above in the balcony... Parking was a bit rough because you have to walk a couple of blocks to find a spot...then feed the meter. All in all it worked out fine...and the kids loved the show...so did I!
Beautiful old theater. Seats we wide enough and comfortable. Not cramped and it was easy to hear all of the actors. Loved the history of the building. Would definitely would go back.
Great local theater which I heard is the oldest in Austin. I went as a chaperone with my child's school and they were able to accommodate over 200 kids. The production I watched was well put together and enjoyable. Would highly recommend.
