Austin's Couch Potatoes has a great selection, attentive staff, complimentary beverages and reasonable prices. The selling floor is open air with the loading docs open, it's large and spread out. Manny was very helpful. He offered solutions, ideas and direct contact information. One thing in particular that was incredible is that any of their locally made couches could be made in an array of colors and fabrics. They have swatches available to place on the couch or bring in to different lighting. It was excellent for our selection process and absolutely recommend.

Very friendly and knowledgeable! Everything was easy going and we found the perfect couch.
CASSIE (glasses, tattoos) was the lady who helped us (even though we went in knowing exactly what we wanted). We set everything up for the couch we wanted, then she told us we would have to come back to finish setting up the financing of our couch. When we went back to finish signing the paperwork, she came out and said hi but I soon realized she was not saying hi to me, but only was greeting my girlfriend (I guess because we were financing the couch in her name). So it was like I didn't exist at all for our second visit. I went and stood next to my girlfriend as we were closing the deal on our new couch, but CASSIE did not look in my direction once. She completely ignored me. It's as if I was not even there. There was a question that came up that required her to refer to me and she did it by talking and looking at my girlfriend and calling me \him\. Even after it was all over, she thanked my girlfriend and said goodbye to her but still did not even look in my direction or acknowledge that I was standing right there. Afterwards, my girlfriend and I talked about it and she noticed it too. The experience left me feeling bad and wondering what I did to cause CASSIE to not like me. Horrible customer service and I'm not sure why, but again it really was a negative experience for me. I was discriminated against and I don't even know why. Also, I'd like to add that this was about 2 months ago. She also misinformed us on how the financing would work. She told us we would not start making payments until the couch arrived and that we would have 3 months to pay it off with no interest. Well the couch has yet to arrive and a payment has already been taken out. Also the financing company is saying we only have til 1 month after it's delivered to pay it off to avoid a lot of interest. So, Cassie was rude and she lied to us.

The staff here is out of this world. AMAZING! The quality of their furniture will last a lifetime. Manny was so knowledgeable at telling us everything we needed to know about buying a couch (quality,durability, materials couches are made of, etc.) This place is amazing because you can choose any type of sofa in the style you want, AND you can choose from a variety of fabric and color samples they have right there on the wall. They also have a designer who helps piece colors together! I will be recommending friends and family to only shop here!
