I got my hair done @ the North location. Ombre dyed and my stylist Emilly was AMAZING!! I did something drastically different with my hair and she made me feel so at ease about everything and executed it perfectly!!

It’s “rude” to ask the student receptionist @0930 when one has a 0900 appt how much longer the wait will be and can one reschedule. Not rude for the student receptionist to point her finger and you and tell you to sit down. Common courtesy would dictate that if one arrives for a 9am appt and all the students are unavailable,, tell the customer ( yes, we are customers, the service is not free) there will be a wait, then one can make a decision about what to do.

Very unprofessional instructors, they dont know what they are doing. My aunt introduced me to this place, shes been coming here for at least a decade until I told her what happened to me. I'll make sure people know word of mouth about the incompetence and extremely rude unprovoked angry treatment I've experienced from the management here. There are better schools out there, its less expensive to get taught the right way than to have to take continuing education classes on top of tuition.

I will share my experience as a customer not a student. I absolutely loved their services and how cost-effective they are. My mom is traveling soon and she really wanted to get a makeover without costing her a fortune. So I went on a mission to find something promising and affordable. I came across Baldwin Beauty School through Groupon. They offer three different packages: 43 for a wash, deep conditioning, cut, toner, and a blow dry (A STEAL) 59 Full Balayage with Toner and Blow-Dry (NO HAIRCUT) 59 Full Highlights with Toner and Blow-Dry (NO HAIRCUT) Great prices but keep in mind they are still students. They will get supervised by an instructor from time to time, but it is better if you have a clear idea of what you'll get done. The instructors will give you feedback, but to avoid frustration, I'd suggest walking in with a set style on you head. My mom and I opted on the first promotion and it was perfect! The catch is that you can't go lighter than your current color, because it involves bleaching. The toner is a semi-permanent process, which will last around 8-weeks depending on how often you wash your hair. Lastly, the range of colors, to choose from will go from your natural color to the darkest. My mom was seeing by Brianne(hope got her name right), for her short age, only 18, she knew coloring pretty well and my mom was very happy with her color and cut. I will go totally recommend it if: you're on a budget, patient throughout the process, and know what you'll get.
