I can’t express enough what a pleasure it was working with Ben Kogut. He cold called me on behalf of someone he was representing, which can sometimes make you suspicious about a transaction. However, from our first conversation he said he wanted everything to be on the table and transparent and it was. He seemed to do an excellent job of protecting his own client (who was not me in this particular transaction) while also being honest and straightforward with me as we negotiated our property transaction. I think it is important to add that I can be somewhat sensitive to interactions with businessmen that do not take female business owners seriously. But this was not the case with Ben. It is very hard to find honest, straightforward business people these days that are not out strictly for themselves and their own bottom line, but you will find that in Ben Kogut!
