My husband and I stopped here for breakfast before heading back to Houston on an early Sunday morning. We ordered online before we arrived. There wasn't a long line so I gave the young man my name for the order, and we waited until it was done because I arrived before the expected time from my online order. My husband ordered the village, and I had a biscuit with a side of scrambled eggs. Whew that biscuit was fluffy and delicious! The eggs were also cooked to perfection, and my husband also enjoyed his meal. Whenever we visit Austin, we will make sure to stop by Biscuits and Groovy.

I ordered the Gloria Gaynor. It has biscuits, gravy, sausage, bacon, egg, cheese, green onions. I added potatoes and extra jalapeños. It looked great, but just had no flavor. The biscuits had no flavor, I actually forgot it had gravy & sausage until right now because I didn't taste them. Neither had any flavor. Not even the cheese had any flavor! All of it could have used some salt. It was also expensive in my opinion. The Gloria Gaynor was 11. 1 extra for potatoes. That's just too much for super bland food. The bacon however was awesome! But not awesome enough to return. The 2 people I was with didn't like it either, for the same reasons I listed above. They also ordered what I had.

Y’all, this place is amazing! A friend and I decided to take a social-distancing trip to the outskirts of the Austin area to take some photographs. We wanted to try a taste of Austin with some local food that the locals raved about so Biscuits Groovy it was! Unique food categories and hands down some of the best homemade Bourbon Peach Jam ( I didn’t get a picture of)! Y’all, the orange juice is literally sent from the Gods! Fresh squeezed right there and poured into a cup, 100% hands down the best! I ordered The Gloria minus the chives and it is so much food! My friend ordered The Aretha minus chives and we shared a biscuit covered in the heavenly peach jam! I didn’t get to get a picture of the juice or my friends food because it was so good it was gone before I could get a picture! Do yourself a favor, if you’re in the area, stop by Biscuits Groovy and get yourself a hearty breakfast, some of the best juice and the best dang jam EVER!! Can not wait to go back to the Austin area and get some Biscuits Groovy again!

Portions are great! We ordered two MC Hammer and it was just right for us. The biscuits were nice and fluffy. The eggs could have used a bit more salt but it was tasty! We also ordered the Bee Gee with strawberry jam. Also very tasty! Be warned though: parking is tight. You can't park in the alley behind and the other businesses around the corner mostly have signs saying X parking only. Might want to park at Duval Market across the street.

Generous portions and very friendly, conscientious staff. Found the biscuits to be a lot pasty. We like ours fluffier.
