At first I had thought this would be a good family oriented gym to train at especially with me having lots of martial arts experience and being an instructor myself. Also having mma experience as we'll I didn't feel the family atmosphere as they stated Jorge castaneda is a good coach and role model but his girlfriend who is the muy thai coach lacks customer service and I didn't feel welcome much. Even though I'm experienced martial artist and fighter her instructions wasn't to what I was expecting and for the inexperienced she dosen't really help or correct them this was more a business than a family environment that mostly just want's you're money and I wouldn't invest in it or recommend it in training there.

Our children have been doing Muay Thai and jujitsu with Bitsy and Jorge since they started the school. I can’t say enough love about these two and how they lead with love, care, and precision. My kids love coming here and I love to watch their interactions with the coaches. I love the diversity of the people who frequent the classes after the kids class. It makes me happy we found a place that is so inclusive and happy. Kudos, guys!

I have trained at several big name gyms with well known fighters and coaches, and Black Widow is absolutely one of the best gyms I have had the pleasure of training at. It's not often you see a gym have a competitive fight team while still cultivating a friendly and down to earth culture. The owners & coaches put in and incredible amount pride and care into the gym and the classes they teach. Not to mention they have incredible sponsorships and host tons of great events from UFC/Fight watch parties, guest seminars with champion fighters, and the locally famous Beejitsu events! Whether you're a beginner looking to get your feet wet, or a pro looking to train for some fights, this gym will get you where you need to be.

I came to this gym shortly after moving to Austin from Honolulu Hawaii where I also went to an MMA gym there a pretty well-known one at that. This gym atmosphere and coaches are very good and above par with knowledge and with respect of others. I have always recommended this gym to my friends and others who ask where I go to train at And when I’m there I met a bunch of new friends as well. The coaches and the others push you to be the best and give you advice even if it with MMA or just normal conversations before of after training. Perfect gym overall!!!️️️️️
