This was a very educational visit; the exhibits were presented neatly and the layout was well thought out. There was enough here to spend many hours, and we enjoyed every minute of our visit. The second floor was our favorite, but the technical marvels of the 3rd floor were the most eye-catching. The store was reasonably priced and had a good variety of merchandise, some of which felt fairly unique. I can definitely recommend this for an afternoon trip!

Friendly staff, some great exhibits and great price. Giving 3 stars because interactive exhibits are no longer available due to Covid. Otherwise, exceptional learning opportunity for any age!

Beautiful museum. Interactive displays were closed due to the pandemic, but still well worth it. Interesting displays and pieces very unique and educational

Came here with my Girlfriend on Saturday (Not busy at all). We are new to Texas having recently moved from California, so when we found this museum and saw that it was focused on the history of Texas, we had to go! Spent about 2 hours there, it was a decent sized Museum, the 2nd and 3rd floor had the most items to read about and admire. It definitely was an eye opener amd explained a lot about Texas/Tejas rich history! Overall it was worth the trip (Drove from SA) had a great time!

As far as museums go, this one isn’t bad at all. Of course the focus is on Texas but it doesn’t go deep enough but does a decent job to get you started. Good price for what you see. Parking was easy and lots of cool things to see. I liked that it didn’t just focus on one part of that state but in the wide regions of the state. Could be bigger but I think that museums could be bigger.
