A nice view of the river up above Austin Texas. Very easy to walk with around a few dozen steps up from the parking. Well worth coming up for incredible sunset shots.

Awesome scenic viewpoints of the Colorado river. Can get crowded at peak times but there are numerous viewpoints. Be sure to walk along the trail and you can avoid the steps in the beginning by going in on the end where it's a gradual incline. Driving through the hills to get here is also a treat.

Great sunset point just west of Austin! The highest point in the city provides great views of the skyline and the Colorado River. Easy parking nearby. The steps are about a 5 minute climb. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy a picnic dinner if you like. Fantastic way to end a day visiting Austin!

This is a beautiful place to take a hike and to enjoy a stunning view of Austin. Today was a super chilly 40 degrees with the wind blowing. The sky was clear and a good spot to take photos.

Extremely pretty place! It's the highest point in austin, and it overlooks the river. The water is extremely blue!! It's also a lot of fun to look at all the rich people houses you can see down there! It is more busy than I had expected though, so be sure to bring your mask!! The only other downside is that it isn't nearly as long of a walk trail as I thought it would be. Everything that was there was fantastic! I just wish there were more of it.
