I live or lived here. It's a nice place. I've also lived at the honors dorm at UT. It feels the same.

Pros: Hot and cold showers actually work. Definitely the quietest residence hall, exception if you're close to the lobby area. Really close to engineering buildings. If you like using a piano, there is one in the basement that is rarely occupied. Likewise, there is a kitchen, ping pong table, pool table that are unused in the basement. Our washers and dryers just got replaced and are brand new so they run super well. If you're a gamer, you have a good chance of finding a group that plays your game here (at least this year). Cons: The closest place I can use my Dine in Dollars is Kinsolving Dining Hall which is a good uphill trek that takes ten minutes. Because the dorm is located in the corner of the campus, it can take up to twenty to thirty minutes to get to classes on the other side of campus. If you're not a gamer and you want to interact with residents, probably not the right fit for you (at least this year). West Campus is far away from here. BO is an issue in the lobby (at least this year). Most people here get auto-filled here.
I like the scenery on the outside. There is a nice lawn outside by San Jacinto. The community is unique this. In the lobby you can find guys playing smash brothers most of the day, guys watching movies, guys playing MAGIC, and more guys playing smash brothers. So if you're into smash brothers you will like it here. If your room is located by the lobby door and you are a light sleeper, good luck sleeping through LITERAL yelling that occurs sometimes at 3am. The showers are prertt good, the AC works, the beds are comfortable, the washers and dryers work, the computer lab is small but convenient seeing that Creekside is so far from everything. Unless you're an art major, engineer, or in law school. You will get some nice calves walking/up hills and trying to get to class from here. If you are not feeling this place like I am, you be moving out if you have a chance Like I am.
Personally, I love Creekside. I've lived at multiple residence halls and I have to say that Creekside is my favorite. Commuting between it and campus keeps me active, has the best natural scenery, is quiet, has awesome room layouts, and I always enjoy the communities that develop throughout the year.
A quiet residence Hall.
