My boyfriend is currently going to CCRC and loves it and is doing we. He's building confidence that a one point was lost because of recently and very rapidly going blind. I am so grateful he has gotten the opportunity to go here. It is a blessing.

In 2005 I received my training and rehabilitation at CCRC. It was an atmosphere I was not used to. However the counselors and teachers help myself and other consumers get the most out of the training. I recommend individuals who have a vision impairment or is blind to inquire about training there. The skills you learn and the confidence you develop will be beneficial to you when you go back into the real world of living with blindness and vision impairment.
I went here in 2009 hoping to learn new skills. What I found instead was frustration. All the computers still use windows XP which is way different from the windows the rest of the world uses. The staff is unwilling to adapt to individuals unique learning needs. They are extremely unorganized and often times never even bothered to show up! The O&M are good if you're completely blind and have use of both ears. The straight canes they force you to use May help but if not too bad! I had at least two panic attacks while here.
Clean, peaceful, safe, user-friendly
Led me straight here.. Good GPS
