i highly recommend Dr. Sayers. He and his staff are very caring and professional. He takes his time during exams and asks about my work, home life and emotions. All of these can have an impact on my arthritis and I appreciate him taking all of this into account when treating me.

Ok I called to make an appointment as a new patient. Everything seemed fine and it’s even listed that he is accepting new patients. The first girl I talked to gathered my info and she was really nice and said that she was going to have my info reviewed and I would get a call back about scheduling. She did not mention once that he is not accepting new patients which is what should’ve been mentioned if this was the case. The second woman on the phone who called seemed kind of cold in my opinion, this is coming from someone who has had a receptionist job too. At first she asked me some questions and it seemed fine and she was going to talk to the doctor about getting my charts faxed over to their office. She calls back and randomly tells me that he’s booked out through like earlier to mid next year and I asked to see when he was booked out to because I’m willing to wait. She then just tells me he’s not booking new patients?? Why would no one tell me that he’s not booking new patients from the start? Seems a little odd to me. I did a lot of research and am very picky about who I want to see and I’m disappointed that I won’t have the opportunity to see Dr. Sayers as he seems to be a very good rheumatologist. He specializes in a lot of issues that most of these rheumatologists don’t. Highly disappointed. I’m not saying he himself is a bad doctor, wouldn’t know since I was never able to get in but the customer service is not great.

Not very personal, and I understand he has a lot of patience but you would think he could remember you and your case or at least read up before he saw you. I was like a new patient every time. I have moved on to a better Doctor and I am doing so much better now. My RA is a last under control for the most part.
