Sharpest investment advisers in Central Texas. As an experienced financial professional and a professor of finance, I'm wary of the advice I get from anyone claiming to have better/more investment insight than me; those interactions usually turn out... poorly. However, that is absolutely not the case with Durbin Bennett; Matt and Paul are two of the smartest, most informed investment professionals that I have ever met. They solve for the optimized portfolio allocation for each client, not a one-size-fits-most format. Highly recommend.

I have been using Durbin Bennett to manage my investments for many years. They are exceedingly honest and very responsive. I am very appreciative that they can speak at a high level or get down to the nitty gritty details depending on your investment experience (I have a lot of financial/investment experience through my work life but my spouse has little). They manage your portfolio to your risk level, although they are staunch believers in capturing most of the upswing and as little as the downswing as possible so if you like super racy returns, this probably is not your place. I highly recommend them!

I was a customer for over 6 years, they did very little to help me achieve my financial goals and put me many times in expensive funds causing fees on fees and further hurting my ROI. I went through 4 different advisers during my time. They are not worth the fees they charge, you would do better investing in the S&P and/or a robo-advisor. Be cautious when hiring any financial adviser!!
