It is rare to find any business or office that is this well-run. The staff is friendly but professional and the service is excellent. Dr. Pierce was able to diagnose my cataracts and correct both of them with absolutely no problems. I just knew I was in capable hands. For the first time in years I can see without glasses! Dr. Pierce is personable and extremely competent. I can't recommend him or this practice enough.

I like the new offices. Since I live in Northwest Austin, it (and was) most convenient to me. Not having to fight the traffic to the \Hospital District\ is great. Parking is ample and I have never had a problem find a place to park. The new layout is quite nice and accessible. The appointments are timely and the waiting room is pleasant. The staff is friendly, helpful, well trained and professional. Dr. Thorne, to me seems to be a most competent physician. He is willing to discuss my examination patiently and in terms that I as a layman can understand. Y'all keep up the good work! I. L. (Buddy) Freed
Every time I have had an appointment with Eye Physicians of Austin the experience has been a pleasant one. Everyone is courteous, efficient and pleasant and the doctor has worked with me for years. They are constantly updating their equipment and methods of eye care. Highly recommend Eye Physicians of Austin. Thanks for being so good!
I've been seeing these doctors on and off (depending on insurance) for over 30 years. And now that I'm on Medicare, I get to come back. I've had one visit to their new office, and was quite pleased. I was seen on time, checked over by two successive technicians who were very courteous and efficient. and then seen promptly by Dr. Thorne, whom I have known for decades. All my questions and concerns were addressed. I was more than satisfied by the entire experience, and will certainly go back again.
The surgery was soothing and painless. Pajamas with vents for warm air piped inside and a tranquilizer to mellow it all out. Even the IV was painless due to a numbing agent injected at the site. In and out in a couple of hours. My only complaint is to check your insurance to make sure your co-pay on the eye drops is not too high. They do not prescribe generics and I was charged 200. Also check your insurance for surgery co-pay. Mine was another 200 I wasn't expecting. The office parking area is under construction so beware of deliveries and unexpected traffic in this area.
