Requested service and Good Guys Tree Service sent over Jose Mesa for an estimate. Jose really knows his trees! Very easy to speak with and used a laser pointer to show where trees should be cut. He came with the crew of 9 on the day of cutting and made sure we were satisfied with his recommendations. The crew took down three trees in less than 3 hours. In and out - and did a perfect job. We have been using another Austin tree service for 10 years, but now we will only use Good Guys Tree Service. Very happy with company.

I had a fallen tree leaning on the building. I emailed Good Guys to remove the tree and the stump. They sent someone out the next day to take a look and give me an appraisal. They were booked up but because the tree posed a danger to the building they were able to do the work that week. They arrived on time and I was amazed at how quickly they got the job done. They did an excellent job of cleaning up. I was very pleased with their work and would hire them again.
The company name says it all. They truly are \good guys\ from the visit to bid the job to the payment process. I've been a customer for at least 5 years and have never been disappointed. Crews are courteous, professional, focused on the job, engaging, with total debris clean up at conclusion. When finished, the only sign they were ever there are the pruned trees. I happily refer Good Guys to family, friends and neighbors. They are my tree service. Why consider others when you can rely on the quality, service and fair price of Good Guys.
Needed an oak in my front yard trimmed and they had someone come out and do an estimate very quickly. A few days later the crew showed up and did a great job on the tree. Everyone was very friendly and respectful of COVID protocols. Thanks so much!
I'm confused by the good reviews posted about Good Guys. My experience post sales has been poor: After agreeing on the quote and submitting supportive documents for my tree removal application, I've called the office 3 times in the past two weeks trying to get an update on whether my application has been submitted, and the person answered the phone always told me \XX will call you back\, but I never heard anything back. I completely understand there is a pandemic going on which may impact their responsiveness, but they should be able to take 30 seconds to respond. Turns out my application was never submitted in those two weeks. Now I'm stuck with two hazardous trees in a winter storm and again, no one answers their phone or returns my phone call. This level of unresponsiveness is something I have never seen before. Won't recommend.
