My dog loves this place. He goes most every day because of his separation anxiety. He is well loved and taken care of. When I open the car door he runs to get into this place.

Booked this place last minute as the place we normally book with was full. Was a little unsure of what to expect...some negative reviews from several years ago and lack of a website was a little concerning for us. However, we were pleasantly surprised to pick our dog up with no problems(no sick at stomach issues and no major shedding). We have always have booked with our vet in Westlake and always felt very comfortable leaving her there as the place is very nice. However, based on our very positive experience at this place(Hill Country Pet Resort) we will defiantly book here again, especially being that is is so much more convenient. And, our dog seemed to truly be happy here(she was not hysterical to see us this time, had zero issues with her stomach this time, and no major shedding). A good find for us!! Thank you! You will be seeing us again!!
This place is not pet resort, could be worse than the shelter. I left my 2dogs for 5days. I found out after the fact that staff comes this place to feed dogs in the morning and they don’t stay during the day. They come back and feed evening meals and leave. Nobody stays at during the night. Play time should be included but I’m not sure if they do that. I doubt it. I left daily doggie treats and a new toy with meals but the toy and treats were not used. (They were clean as brand new). Not enough staff to take care of variety of dogs at this place. They had more than 12 dogs boarding when my dogs checked in. Only one staff was there and she said she is leaving after that. (It was about 5pm.) Staff is on site during business hours (period.) I don’t think I will use this “pet resort” again.
