Great place to spend some time out in nature. Beautiful gardens, nice natural area. Amazing specimens and research going on here. We got a season pass and go often. Good place to take kids, and they have events for kids. Staff and patrons always friendly. Highly recommend.

We went last night for Lumination. It was great to get outside and walk around to see the lights. We wish more of the forts were open and lit up, but it was still an enjoyable evening with the family. It's nice to enjoy the outdoors and to support local parks and wildlife. It's kind of a hidden gem.

I'm a wedding photographer and I absolutely love photographing weddings at the Wildflower Center! The library area has such stunning light for those classic getting ready photos, and the wildflowers offer such a beautiful backdrop for the formal portraits. My couple opted to get married indoors and have the reception outdoors. I usually recommend couples have an outdoor ceremony because the lighting is better, but the lighting in the indoor space at the Wildflower Center turned out to be absolutely stunning! The natural stone walkway leading to the event space is another great spot for portraits. I absolutely loved working here and hope to be back soon! Highly recommend this venue.

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is such an amazing place. I have been taking my kids there for so many years to enjoy the beauty of nature that they expertly cultivate. Recently, we visited the Forlandia exhibit and it was incredible. They have constructed forts all along the trails toward the back of the property. The forts are all made from different materials and in different styles. One was made from tires and looked like a giant snake. Another one had tunnels and things to climb on. It was great fun and my kiddo spent 3 hours going between the various forts. I highly recommend the Fortlandia exhibit for kids of all ages.
