We hired Longhorn Lawns to replace our irrigation after we built our pool and then complete the backyard with landscaping. We also had them replace our builder landscaping in the front with xeriscaping and then hired them again to set poles and hang lights around the fire pit. They were on time, within budget, communicative, and creative during the process. They made a mistake by breaking the fill line to the pool and fixed it without question. I would recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommend! We have done a few projects with Longhorn Lawns, and always been very happy. Recently, we re-did our front landscaping (transitioned to more dry-scaping-- gravel, succulents, etc). John Paul (JP) was very responsive and kept me up to date with any changes (there were some brief weather delays, as of course can happen). He personally came by to check in on the progress and make sure things were headed in the direction of the vision we planned together. Overall, very pleasant experience and extremely professional, courteous staff all around. Thank you Longhorn Lawns!!
JP and his crew went above and beyond the original quote in both quality and materials used. They made sure that the job was done right and that our family was very happy with the results. It was an 8 day drainage and landscaping project to reroute runoff rain water and design the front of our house (before/after pics). Their price quote was 75% of competitors in the Austin area with comparable plans to meet our requirements. We made slight changes to do the plants ourselves, mostly due to indecision on our part, and added more grass to the order. Both changes were efficiently and effectively managed and implemented. We will be recommending them for related jobs, and VERY likely to be return customers.
Terrible, owner is incompetent, doesn’t know how to research basic facts. If you want a lawn like the owner’s mind (half-dead) try this guy!
Truly a fantastic experience! I've been a customer for 10 years and their service and personal touch is unmatched! I wanted to create an enjoyable, but sustainable backyard - something that made me excited each and every morning when I looked outside... mission accomplished! Worked With: -- Kara, she is the landscaping manager. She transformed a muddy, grass less backyard to the present with design, installation, irrigation, maintenance, and ongoing attention and trouble shooting. -- Heath (owner): After signing up, for the ensuing 10 years could not be more pleased. In early days Heath actually did lawn work himself, and as the company has grown, both he and director of operations Julie have provided prompt responses and problem solving on a multitude of issues. -- Another key element is how nice ownership is and how this ethic is reflected in their staff.
