I live this place! Bring your kids, bring your dogs, heck, bring your grandparents! There is something for everyone here, and if you come away from here not having had a great time, it's your own fault, period.

A good hiking trail. Nice viewpoint.
Gorgeous little stop along your route by the river. Great skyline of Austin, amazing crystalline water and you might even see a swan or two! Cannot recommend this place enough for people coming with out of towners. It’s a really easy walk down from the Zilker trail
A place to relex. Crystal clear water. You can swim at shallow water. You can take a bike to ride. Also walking and runing. Good view of river and City.
