It had been quite a few years since I'd bought living room furniture, but Maya made the whole process less intimidating for me. One can be quickly overwhelmed by the number of couch and chair options, but Maya took the time to walk me through the whole store (probably more than once ), and took each of my criteria into consideration when helping find the right furniture my home. Maya made the whole experience very personable and I never felt pressured to make a purchase that wasn't right for me.

One of the Austin's iconic furniture store that's been around. Good selection of design that will fit for that sophisticated decorating taste. The staff here are attending and friendly. Ample parking spaces and easy access to Mopac.

We needed a new sofa for our Family Room. As an Architect and Interior Designer, I am picky about what furniture I buy. Yet, budget rules. I was pleased to find the extra long sofa by Century available in the custom look we wanted. Our salesperson Leslie, also an Interior Designer, responded to my online query via their website. They no longer have a store in Houston. Despite the pandemic and supply chain challenges- even a cyber attack!- they delivered our beautiful new sofa just 3 months after we ordered it. You can count on Louis Shanks for solid quality, professional salespeople, and good selection. Thank you. We are grateful for our new sofa.
