Someone recommended Mike and his company to me for my new construction. This requires several types of survey at different stages of the build. I looked him up and a few reviews were not great (I got scared), but the person that recommended him used his services and was very happy. I decided to give him a call and try it out. Mike was very knowledgeable and super helpful. He asked question that other survey companies did not. I moved forward and used his company for my new construction. He was on time and great communication on ETA. Mike did the envelope and form, survey for my build and soon he will do the final survey too. The foundation company had a question on some measurements and Mike was just a call away with the answers. I had a great experience with Mike and his company! I will keep using them again! Thanks Mike!

I contacted this person several month ago for a tree survey required by Jonestown. He gave me a price agreed to complete it but not for at least 2-3 weeks - I had no problem with that. Since that time which was about 8months ago I've called the man weekly and he promised to finish and yet never to this date delivered. He lies, He is unprofessional, and broke his promise to completed the project and stalled my timeline.

As an architect I've dealt with many surveyors over the years and McMinn is the worst I've seen. When I first called to request a survey he said it would be 3-4 weeks. Fine, I'll wait. After 5 weeks I had to call and it appeared they \forgot\ about it but they said it would be done the next day. Two more weeks and they're not answering calls or emails. Hey, I know the economy is good but there's no reason to let your professionalism slide like this.

As a builder we had a similar experience. We waited for weeks for him to get the survey done. Then, when we needed a live oak added to it he was no where to be found. We had to get a whole new survey. Terrible waste of 800. Very unprofessional.
