I had a flat tire at 4:48 today, got to Mellow Johnny's like 5 after closing. They stayed and fixed my flat, and were so nice about it. Y'all, seriously cool folks!
So far my experience has been awesome, staff is always extremely helpful and nice, which is a nice change from most other shops I've been to. Had a tune up done, bike was ready in under 24hrs and rode better than ever. Great crew.
I bought a bike here in 2019 and got a solid recommendation from the guy who helped me out. Anytime I've needed a repair, Mellow Johnny's has helped me out at a more than fair rate. They even helped me adjust my front changer for free (twice). Any advice I've asked for was provided in a pleasant way. The team here is kickass and I'd highly recommend.
A destination in and of itself even if you are not looking to buy a new bike. Exceptional bike mechanics work fast and smart, bikes and accessory galore with very well trained staff. A great coffee shop where you can ponder the origin and meaning of the name (Juan Pelota Cafe). Exercise/spinning classes in the basement, and a great collection of Lance Armstrong bikes on public display throughout the shop. Parking can be a challenge but it is well worth it.
