Hello everyone, I don’t tend to write reviews specially because I procrastinate a lot and I end up forgetting lol This happened last year. I was seen by Dr Sharon Arffa last year for a Neurophysiological test due to memory loss And also as a child was diagnosed with ADHD so I went to clarify any other issues, that test lasted approximately 8hrs. I was not explained any of the results and I felt that they just wanted to use my insurance money if that makes sense? She just said I was depressed with possible ADHD and that I needed therapy? Even though I didn't felt or feel depressed i did asked and I had to insist several times to give me referrals for a good therapist but couldn’t get the help on that aspect either. I felt that she didn’t care at all about me or my situation after she performed that test. I wouldn’t recommend this institution at all for any neuro-physiological services.

Working with Dr. Hammel, his wife Lisa and other staff was the only pleasant part of our experience with the Leander School district. While we are in shock that LISD spends so much money attempting not to provide services to our children, we are very grateful that there are people like the Hammel’s who actually care and want what is best for the child. Highly recommend.

Dr. Hammel performed some testing with my daughter and, even though the testing took quite some time, he and his staff was very adaptive to my daughter in order to make sure that she was able to complete the testing. He and his staff were great with my daughter and were m very helpful in making recommendations for her. My daughter actually looked forward to seeing him and wondered if she would be able to see him in the future.
