Great place I need new contacts are they still open ?

The staff is great and the prices is right. I've never had an issue until my recent visit. The doctor was not available to sign my prescription. The agreement was he would sign it when he came in and they would email me a copy. I have yet to receive it. My appointment was way back in April. I called Tuesday and was told she would email it before she left the office, and I never received anything. I never got it, but things happen, people get busy, that's fine I get it. I called again on Wednesday and she remembered, apologized and said she would be sure to send it before the end of day Wednesday and I still haven't gotten it.

Got my eyes checked in July to get new contacts. Placed an order that day for a 6 month supply and asked for a copy of my prescription. I was told it would be e-mailed to me. Never got a call that they were ready to be picked or an email after 3 weeks. So, I went back in to check on them in person. The order was never placed and again was told I would get an email with my prescription and a call when my contacts were ready to be picked up. Now, 2 months later, I have none of my old contacts and my prescription was never e-mailed. There is now a note on the front door informng customers it is closed till further notice. I paid for exam 5 months ago and now can't get any glasses or contacts unless I pay for another exam somewhere else. This place is super unorganized and unprofessional and obviously doesn't care if customers can see or not.....or this place just scams people.

Great selection of frames, excellent pricing, and great experience over all. Had my vision tested and the process was quick. From then on Brian made sure my lens order came out fantastic. My glasses are light and do not weigh on my face at all, best pair I have ever had. Can’t go wrong choosing this place!

I hate to write a bad review because I never do, but I went here for my glasses & contacts lens exam in March. They told me they had to have the doctor approve the prescription and then they'd get it to me. That's fine. I waited a couple weeks. Then I thought, oh maybe they mail it to you, so I waited a month longer. Now it's been almost 3 months and I still can't get my prescription. Whenever I call, either no one answers or I leave a voicemail that isn't returned. I called yesterday and finally got a person, who said she'd email it today. I haven't gotten it yet so I called just to check in. She put me on hold and I've now been on hold for 20 minutes...I think they lost it and they're just hoping I'll go away haha. Definitely feeling like I was scammed out of 70. I'm bummed because everyone seemed to really like this place. I wish they'd just give me a straight answer because this seems really shady.

The employees at this office are great and I felt like I was with family. I have been coming to Northstar Optical for years off and on. The owner, Jason has helped me out with a difficult prescription where one else could. I have anxiety when it comes to my eyes, but Jason has been great! I highly recommend Northstar Optical to family and friends. If you don't know them yet, you should. If not for any other reason, the prices are AMAZING!! !

They are really nice and helpful. I have been coming here for the past 3 years and their service continues to be great! I've changed my mind last minute about my frames and they still had a good attitude about it and helped me. It is very affordable specially for those of us that have no insurance. I have made this optical my home optical.

I had a very enjoyable experience at Northstar Optical! Great customer service, nice selection of frames, and great deals! I felt right at home with the friendly staff and comfortable office. The process from the eye exam to obtaining my glasses was very quick so I was in and out within an hour! Very spot on in terms of knowing what was best for my eyesight (which isn't so great)! Would definitely recommend checking these guys out!
