I went here for most of elementary school and I have to admit, I had fun here. I had many kind teachers that taught me well. But the only problem about this school are the people that go here. I used to live in the nearby neighborhood and it was completely low class. Also, most of the students at the school couldn't afford to go there. One time, I found a pack of cigarettes in the girls bathroom. And I got bullied a lot but especially from the girls. But every school has bullying and nobody can stop it completely. Some things I loved about this school was track and field, the 3rd grade Valentine's dance (I don't exactly remember it), the after school activities, and all the class parties. Although I loved this school, the Bedichek MS and Crockett HS were terrible. I'm glad I moved so then I didn't have to go those schools. Overall, it's a great school and I would most likely recommend sending your child here.

I am now 21, and am a college major, and with many thanks to Odom Elementary. With your writing skills, your child should only be so lucky to attend a school that taught me literature, mathematics, and how to be a responsible young person. I have NEVER had a negative experience at Odom, and can only assume your child overreacted, or was completely disrespectful, and unaware of how to act like a mannerly adolescent. I can't even imagine that Odom would consider hiring a teacher who would threaten a child. So, perhaps you should overlook they way you are raising your child before insulting an amazing school that is part of the best memories of my childhood.
