My best friend and I went to Austin for a birthday weekend getaway. We had the pleasure of starting our trip off by having dinner at Olive and June. Our server, Alex Z., made the start to our trip absolute perfection. She went out of her way to make sure that we had the highest quality dining experience. Alex is the reason we will be back, but the food was amazing also. We couldn’t have asked for a better time.

I wanted to love it...but the food was mediocre at best. The appetizers were good (try the meatballs!) but when it came to the the main dishes, it just fell flat. The vibe was great! Beautiful tree running through the property. The staff was very friendly and super helpful/accommodating. The experience was nice, the apps were good, and the wine was great. Next time I’ll stop there. I wouldn’t encourage anyone to order a full dinner here unfortunately. For specifics: The octopus dish was way too fishy to even eat The tagliatelle was way over cooked Just disappointed in the main meals overall
Good food. Definitely will be back. The cocktails were fantastic. I definitely enjoyed the different dishes and the pasta was great. Wish to see some standard Italian dishes but overall, great place for a date.
Olive & June is our go-to place for special occasions. My husband got the bucatini with meatballs and I got the clam linguine. Both were absolutely delicious and house made pasta. The dessert was a spiced apple bombolini which was the perfect end to our meal. Lovely atmosphere, covid safe, and a 5 star meal that isn't a small fortune. We will continue to come back time and again.
We went in December and sat out on the patio. It was a cold night and the heat lamps did a great job of keeping you warm. Food and drinks were really good. We will definitely be coming back again.
