quick response and great printing product. The college emblem looks amazing. Worth the price.

I ordered two copies of my dissertation, one for myself and one to turn into my department. One actually split right down the middle as I was inspecting it for any issues. I immediately called, even though it was after hours, and someone answered, absolutely horrified when I explained the situation to them. Told me they would send me a return label and redo the binding for no charge. Confirmed the offer with someone else at a later date over the phone, and they were equally horrified and apologetic that this had occured. Just got my fixed dissertation back, and it looks great. I was very impressed with their turnaround, and the customer service.

The finished product is beautiful, but the customer service is...lacking. My sisters and I sent in a 25 year old original copy of our dad’s dissertation by mail, and they did a great job with it. However, when I mailed in one of the only existing copies of Dad’s dissertation, and we hadn’t heard anything a week after the package should have reached their facility in Austin, I got worried that something had happened to it. I called the number posted on their website and was actually *yelled* at about how “this isn’t a one man operation,” how he “had no idea what [I] was talking about,” and why didn’t I just send an email (even though the phone number is publicly posted on their “Contact Us” page). All I wanted was for someone to verify whether an order in my sister’s name had been received, but apparently that was a major inconvenience.

They had a quick turn around and the quality of the final product was excellent! I'm glad they had the capability to print most school logos on the cover. Plus, they found and corrected a typo for me!!!! I definitely recommend PhD Bookbinding.
