I'm a general contractor specializing in complex custom homes and have worked with Positive Energy on a net zero home in Seattle. They were a pleasure to work with at every step of the project. Our project considered both ground and air sourced heat pumps for heating and cooling and PE provided enough information in the design phase to allow for a price comparison, as well as sustainability metrics for a non-price related comparison. They also designed a high efficiency domestic hot water system for us. Designs and specifications were clear, and when we had questions they were quick to answer. They are the first mechanical engineer I recommend to clients. They're also all really, really nice!
