I took in a deaf rescue at 18 months old with absolutely no training done with her. I worked with her for a year to address severe anxiety and fear of strangers. Finally realized I needed professional help to progress any further. Sit Means Sit took us under their wing and worked wonders. She is now responding to hand signals, tolerates humans and other dogs much better and is thriving with her \homework\. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Trainers were able to adapt lessons for a deaf dog and the one on one time with them was invaluable. I would highly recommend this company if you have a dog that has issues.

Sit Means Sit has been a complete blessing! Emma was a wild child with no boundaries and no effective way to communicate with her. Once we both understood the cue and her collar, she has exceled beyond what I thought was possible. She's so smart and I haven't yelled ONE time (let alone 100 times which was the norm) since she started training. From day 1 she was a different dog, one who has more freedom to go with me out into the public and even be off leash because she respects the commands. I'm going to be training my other dog using the same method and collar, learning this with Emma has been amazing and I'd recommend it for anyone!

After adopting our dog we realized that he was reactive to other dogs and some people. We knew that we needed to start training him but we started with classes at another training facility, ZoomRoom, but he did not do well there. In fact, his reactiveness only got worse after going there and they did not offer any other training options for us. After feeling pretty embarrassed and discouraged a co-worker recommended Sit Means Sit to us so I figured we should give it a try. We decided to drop him off at training camp for a few weeks followed by a year-long membership to their training classes. While the initial cost of this training is by no means \cheap\ I can say now that it is certainly a great value and well worth it! You get what you pay for. Training camp was wonderful for our dog to get accustomed to their staff and training methods and also for us to learn how to work with him going forward. After training camp we started with the Feisty Fido classes (which is great for any reactive dog) and then we got approved to attend the Advanced classes. I am so thankful for the wonderful staff that works at Sit Means Sit. They are truly so knowledgeable, caring, and patient. Our dog has come SO FAR since starting classes with them and I would recommended them to any dog owner. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!

Love them! We ended up going to them after meeting so many people with amazingly well behaved and trained dogs whom the owners told us we're a nightmare. They have 3 individual classes to start and then group classes. To top it off, Linus LOVES going to class! This is him doing his 'place'

We had a great experience with Sit Means Sit. Our pup made incredible progress during the 3 week day camp program. Well worth every cent! The program was completely catered to our pups specific needs and tendencies and his progress was just astonishing. They provided easy to follow home work. We are really impressed with their operation and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for assistance in their dog training. 5 plus stars for sure!
