I found what I thought was a great used Jeep at South Point. I chatted online with Josh and then he had let us know that he had a new Jeep for a lower interest rate. After going back and forth during the day I did the credit application. That was on Friday. Saturday we had us a Jeep!!! We went to Austin to pick it up on Tuesday. On my trade in they gave me almost 7,000 more on my trade in than the local dealer. Everyone was friendly and attentive.

So I took my car in for a recall repair. They completed the repair but my key fob stopped working. When I locked the door with the key fob when I got there it worked just fine but when I asked the service department about it they simply said that they had nothing to do with that. Anyways it worked fine when I got there and when I left it no longer worked. Which is super disappointing because I love south point. Anyways now I have to lock the car from the inside. When I asked the guy if he could look at it and see if maybe they accidentally disconnected it or something, he said it would be 300 to replace the key fob and the service fee was like 140 for them to even take a look. Either way that is not right. The guy could have at least acted as though it was a realistic possibility that something was disconnected or took a look under the hood or he could have done something else besides immediately react with the typical “Oh no, that has nothing to do with what we did. It must have just went out on its own.”

Had a great experience buying a car with Josh M. We found the car online and Josh had it pulled up to the front, ready for a test drive, when we arrived. The car was priced very reasonably and in great condition (three years old). Josh took us on a long test drive and was very knowledgeable about the particular make and model. Josh made the experience fast and easy, about three hours from start to finish. One star off because they were not negotiable at all on the price (but, as stated, it was already reasonably based on our pretty extensive research). Also, finance did not seem to work very hard to find a solution for my need to put an out-of-state relative (who is moving here soon) on the financing and title, so that I would not have to pay to transfer title down the line; perhaps it was impossible, but they did not seem knowledgeable or comfortable with state-to-state rules.

I leased a Ram 1500 today and am very pleased and appreciative of how smooth the car buying process was. From my first email inquiry and them finding the right truck with the features and styling I preferred, and doing a test drive, to finalizing a deal and finance paperwork, then taking delivery of my new vehicle, everything was SMOOTH. Nico and Josh were a pleasure to work with and they took the pain out of the normally grueling car buying experience. South Point was flexible in getting me a great trade in value so I was able to turn in my prior lease early and get into this beautiful new truck, which quite frankly, drives and looks as good/better than many luxury sedans. I would absolutely recommend South Point Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram to anyone looking to purchase or lease a great vehicle who appreciates straight talk, no nonsense, and a fair price. The dealership is also very modern & clean and all of the employees there seemed friendly and helpful. Thanks again for getting me into this awesome Ram 1500. I love it.
