Fun day trip with my girls. Getting out and hiking about. Basically a nice trail along the creekbed of the hill country. Nice houses line the topside of the hills but the trail stays green and has a deep nature feel as it's hidden under the tree canopy's. The Cub scouts made nice rails and steps from nature to make it easier to climb up to the houses if you wanted too.

It's a really good beginner trail, there's almost no slope. It's been kept up really well and there's no trash on it. The entrance is a little hard to find though.

Great trail with a beautiful creek. I live on the corner street so I've grown up with the trail. If you plan on going, beware of ticks and know that it gets VERY busy on the weekend. Sometimes with more than 20 cars up the street. Even so, the trail is amazing and I highly recommend it! Please do clean up after yourself though, it's a pain to clean up the street after the weekend visitors.

This is such a great hike! I love that there’s parking available, that’s rare in Austin, especially for hikes within a neighborhood. This is a beautiful, quiet trail. It has a good balance of terrain immersed in nature, it’s rugged enough to feel like a strenuous hike at some points but a lot of it is stable enough to jog without twisting an ankle. The water along it is stagnant, but still beautiful. This is one of my favorite trails in Austin. There are a bunch of side trails and loops i haven’t even explored yet.

Very private & secluded trails, tiny 3 car parking lot but not crowded, mine was the only car there someone left right when I pulled up. Nice steep hill to walk up for pretty overlook views, creek at the bottom. Large area could go back several times & explore new trail.
