We had a reservation booked in advance for a couples date night with Friends Saturday Feb 6th at 7pm under my husband’s name. We arrived and the hostesses told us there was 1 hour wait time. We showed them our confirmation email. The both hostesses were dumbfounded. And said in Spanish- “how do we tell them we have no tables”. We speak Spanish and understood them- They then turn to us and say “ we do show any reservations “..even after showing our email. The younger hostess tried to seat us at a table. As she set the menus down we asked why we were being seated at a table when the reservation was for a hibachi grill. She then said they had no tables available and it was an 1 hour wait. They seemed to have this issue with another group next to us too.We left with no apologies or even a bit of remorse from the 2 hostess. This was a complete disgrace and embarrassment with friends and family. I guess it’s pointless to make reservations. Just show up and cross your fingers. We left, because they were causing a scene and wanted to enjoy our food not get spit or God knows what.

Ordered to go was perfectly packaged hibachi shrimp miso soup and some sushi with ginger salad.
It was our first time going my brother wanted to try something different for his birthday. The food was pretty good. The drinks were ok they took a long time to bring you your drink guess they only had one bartender on a busy Saturday night. Other then that it was great. Our chef kept us entertained the whole time he was cooking.
We just finished a very entertaining dinner. Good food, good service and good fun! Lots of food and we were well attended by the staff. I think I took home more than I ate!
I went to this restaurant with 4 friends on Sunday the day it snowed in Austin. 5 minutes after we were seated the power went out in the restaurant and they could not cook the food on the grill. That was literally the main reason we went. We were able to get some sushi and that was good, but after an hour of waiting we decided to leave because we had other plans in the day. The manager(?) was understandably hesitant about letting us leave without paying. Their credit card system was down, so we had to scavenge for cash in our car which was honestly pretty irritating. Again, I understand that they want to make their revenue from customers, but overall the entire situation was frustrating for all of us involved. I want to try this location in the future and see the food cooked the way it is meant to. Hopefully my future experience is not nearly as disappointing.
