This is the single best place to buy leather in the area. Very wide selection and quality products, but more importantly, the staff are amazing. Every time I go, I'm impressed with the customer service, and I won't go anywhere else to buy leather or tools. One guy spent about 10 minutes showing me the proper way to choose leather and what to look for, going through each individual piece and pointing out what was good or bad about it. I'm lucky enough that this is the first place I've ever shopped for leather, and will likely be the last based on the wide array of products, the high quality build and the fantastic customer service!
If I could give 6 stars I would! I thought I had destroyed my expensive suede purse by trying to clean off pen marks with soap and water. The suede was riddled with dark water stains even after it dried and I thought it was unsalvageable. I went to a leather repair shop and they referred me to Tandy leather. The staff here knew exactly what to do. They directed me to the correct products to clean and condition the suede. I took everything home, doubtful it would work and put off trying it for two weeks. To my utter shock it worked and the purse looked like nothing had ever happened by the time I was finished. I am so grateful to the staff at Tandy leather. Thank you!!
Went in to buy a couple of things that i really didn't know much about (new hobby for me). CARMEN was AMAZING!! Extremely helpful, knoweledgeable and her demeanor is delightful!!
What a fantastic staff! These ladies go above and beyond for customers. They are welcoming, educational and engaging. I felt right at home seconds after walking in the door. Never rushed, always encouraged. Will definitely be back. I love this place!

So I was instructed to go here by Jo-Ann fabric because they didn't carry the amount of leather that I needed for my pieces. So Then I went and let me tell you Lily that works here is great. She was the only one attending to customers and was still able to help me. This place is like a one-spot shop for everything. Lily gave me all the information I needed and more. And guy make sure you buy the yearly gold membership it literally pays itself. Great place.
I've read most of the reviews and I agree with all the great ones. Carmen is wonderful! She should train managers how to be a perfect manager ( (not just Tandy but everywhere). I feel like I've known her for years, even though I've only been doing leather about 4 months. Whether you're new to leather or not, all the classes are a great deal. Usually, they're the cost of a project but you get great instructions and tips from people who've done it and know how to help you learn. Plus, you usually make something specific for you, not the same thing everyone else is doing.
