I've been fortunate enough to be in the chair for a couple of shoots with Tara doing hair and make up and have always had an absolutely lovely experience! She's a total professional, efficient and thorough, never rushed, with an artisan's hand and eye dedicated to her craft while also connecting with you as a person. She doesn't work on you so much as she works with you! Highly recommend for any of your needs!

Tara was so wonderful to work with. She worked on the set of a commercial we were shooting for our company. She did several different looks for our cast throughout the day. She was quick even while traveling to several locations, and our cast looked fantastic. She did such a fantastic job and was incredibly professional. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.
Tara provided EXCELLENT service on our SAG Feature set for over a month! Everyday of my 19 performing days on set she had to replicate or be responsible for the replication of my exact look for continuity. She did so fast, accurate, and with joy. I loved my look that she crafted so perfectly to fit the character and the era, since this piece was set in a different time. She was also responsible for the entire cast, including tattoo covering, fake bruising and aging. Everyone on set loved her and her work. She works well with all departments to be a cohesive member of the team. She is a MUST HIRE if you can get her for your set or project!!!
I worked with Tara for over the span of several productions. It was always a relief to me to see her name on the production team roster. She is adept at design, leading a team, and teaching. She communicates her teams's needs clearly and asks for clarifications when directors and production designers are a bit fuzzy in their vision. In addition to being an excellent Makeup, Wig, and Hair Artist, she is a wonderful person. When it came time to enlist the services of a makeup artist in my personal life, I immediately called her to see if she was available. Tara did my personal makeup for my wedding and was amazing. I looked lovely and nothing budged in the Texas heat in August. She made a stressful day quite a bit better and helped calm me down before the ceremony. Makeup at the time was not a strong point in my skills and I was worried I'd end up looking not like myself or have raccoon eyes. None of those things happened. I looked like the best version of myself thanks to Tara. The only reason I no longer work with Tara is I am in a different field many time zones away and no longer require the services makeup, wig and hair stylist. I do follow her work online and it's still stellar. Do yourself a favor and call her first. She is worth it.
Tara is super talented and very professional. She is well versed in transforming people into looking their best for any event- from wedding days to theatrical experiences to film. She has a keen eye for design and is great at channeling creativity. I love her teaching style as well- she makes learning about styling on any spectrum fun and exciting!
