TAB has a dedicated staff and many volunteers committed to supporting the policies and laws that will help create the environment necessary for businesses to PROSPER in TEXAS. The advocacy team worked tirelessly during the 2019 (86th) legislative session on the issues determined to be a priority by the member Committees and approved by the Board. I have been a member of the Texas Association of Business for several years and look forward to supporting their important work in the months and years ahead.

Extremely slimy organization. I agreed to one year in order to give them a try. After not getting a response from me about a renewal and updating the payment method, they decided to just take the money out of my account without approval. I had a discussion with the guy that signed me up about that never happening. When I called to complain about this, I got one of those dead end phone systems. You had to know an extension or leave a message. So, I left a message and kept blowing up the phone just in case it annoyed someone. After about 5 minutes the options change to giving me a choice to select 1 to sing up or 2 for billing. As I was leaving a message, a call from them popped up on my caller ID. The person calling said she was with TAB and had been missing my calls. She pulled my paperwork and told me I'd authorized the payment in September of 15. I pointed out that was for one year and they didn't get authorization for a second year. I told her that I know she called to get me to renew and update billing info. My lack of a response should have been a pretty clear indication I wasn't interested. She said since I didn't respond she decided to use the fine print in the contract and auto renew without authorization. When I told her the rep promised me that wouldn't be a problem, she said well he didn't tell us so we didn't know. They way too practiced at dealing with angry people that don't want to be their customer anymore.
