On Wednesday, 7/22, our primary care physician referred a family member to a particular doctor at this medical facility. On 7/23, we called to verify that they had received all notes and labs. Adrienne said they had not but that he would contact the PCP for them. On last Friday (7/25) we called and Adrienne advised that they had all of the referred medical records required, that they were under review and that he would call back and make an appointment for our family member to see the doctor that afternoon. It is now Tuesday (7/28). Nothing. This morning I left a voice mail for the practice administrator and the business manager. It is almost end of day and neither has returned my call. We finally reached Adrienne and he lied and said he had not received all of the records, only the demographics. We are now going to another practice because the medical care may also reflect their incompetence and lack of professionalism. Unfortunately, I read reviews on various sites only after the referral by our PCP. They were bad reviews. They have caused someone with a very serious condition to have to start all over again in order to be seen by a different doctor at a different location.

I go in every weekday for radiation treatments for breast cancer with a standing appointment at 9:45 a.m. until the treatments are completed. This office is always crowded and perhaps overbooked (and the waiting room is somewhat unpleasant). Although my standing appointment is only 45 minutes after they open, I still often wait at least 15 minutes or more before they get me in. In other words, they are already running behind soon after opening every day. You may think 15 minutes is not that big of a deal, but this is everyday. When you are going in every single day for weeks, it gets frustrating that they are always late (with few exceptions). Otherwise, the techs seem competent, if a bit hurried and the radiation oncologist (Dr. Wu) is very kind.

First time visit yesterday. I was very impressed on how organized was the initial intake. You first check in on the ground floor. Your paperwork is collected. Then you wait about 5 to 10 minutes, they call you back to the front desk to give you a floor assignment. We went up to the 3rd floor and checked into our doctor's office. Again, it was a longer wait of about 30 minutes but not surprised since it was mid-afternoon, and it all the docs get backed up. When then were called into the doctor's office. A nurse met us to take my wife's vitals signs. She left, after a few minutes, Dr. Chadha came in with his assistant. Dr. Chada went straight to the computer and started asking a series of medical questions. He took notes on all the answers. His assistant did the same. The doctor checked her body for any swelling or pain points. All good. The doctor explained what he was reading on the blood panel test done several weeks ago, the brief physical exam, and my wife's answers to his question. After 15 minutes of consulting, he recommended a series of 5 blood tests to better understand the diagnosis. We left the office, went down stairs had the 5 vials of blood drawn. A follow up appointment was made then. All-in all, 90 minutes total. A five star visit.
