You will enjoy a fresh take on service from this Austin well known bike shop, now under new ownership. I took my bike in for a part replacement and expected to have to wait a week or so...but they promised next day completion and that is what happened. I picked it up the next day.

I Came here to replace my handlebar (hydo disk break) and . The shop running very sufficient, good customer service. until: 1. they didn’t meet promised delivery. 2. Breaks wasn’t bleeds properly 3. I understand they have all the prices listed, but man, they can find anything to charge. I’m from the Bay Area, and I can tell you they don’t charge labor to replace stem @ 20. 4. They don’t communicate how much it is until it’s done, I asked but they said “we let you know when we are done” 5. They make me wait, for them to do some adjustment. I should charge them for my time. 6. Cable rearranged sloppy job. Im NOT HAPPY with their work
First time into the new store and new way of doing business. I was very impressed with the staff, they were very positive, professional and knowledgeable. They took there time, answering my questions and concerns. Looking forward to continuing my relationship with Trek.
Arrived at the store opening morning after Trek buyout. Trek bought the excellent bicycle sport shop chain. I wasn’t allowed to go into the store and shop without a assigned trek salesperson. I wanted to browse but was told a salesperson would shadow me. It was a weird high pressure sales tactic. Big turn off. I turned around and left. Why by a bike from people who won’t let you look and browse? Bicycle sport shop was the best bike shop I had ever been to. I had been a customer for over a decade. But now it’s gone and a corporate trek shop with assigned sales people is in its place. Off to buy a specialized after this experience. RIP Bicycle Sport Shop.
These guys helped us buy a bike for a child as a present with out her being there. The return policy was perfect since we were not positive what size she needed. After we tried the first bike and realized it was too small, we returned it the next day and went home with the perfect size bike that was an even better color for her preference. Even during covid19 shutdown, we were able to make a little girl very happy to have a \gear bike\. Thanks BSS for great customer service under difficult circumstances. We are happy customers!
