The management of this firm is not responsive and lacks integrity in my view. They charged me to re-let my apartment and have made no effort to re-let the apartment despite numerous efforts on my end to connect them with prospective renters or to do something simple like post the apartment online. All while continuing to pocket my full monthly rent payments. There were also a number of issues with maintenance on the apartment, University Realty employees entering when I wasn’t home without permission, etc. I’ve communicated my issues and concerns with this company numerous times and was essentially dismissed with nothing done to address my concerns. Not a good renters experience at all.

NOPE. No. Nah. This company is not it. You’d think as an adult, they would have some sort of communication skills, but no. Took them months to respond to me and they only act out of their own interest, never caring for your needs ( like I know they are running a business, but come on!! There’s something called human decency. ) If your looking to lease in west campus, JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
They helped find us an apartment, but will rip you off with deposit. We had the apartment professional cleaned and holes filled. Mind you when he moved carpets were not clean, window blinds broken a apparent leak was in the bedroom ceiling. They fixed a few things while he lived there for two years, but not everything. They kept 70 % of the deposit for nonsense and charged my son extra rent, when he turned his keys 3 weeks early. Find a more honest place to lease your apartment and if you end up here, know that your deposit will be GONE.
If you want to negotiate a lease with someone that is just playing middle man and feel like wasting a bunch of time, this is the place for you! I’m actually thankful that the company was completely unreasonable in their approach to leasing me property as I was willing to do WAY more work than any tenant should to make a building inhabitable for my business. Not just any work, either, but a complete scrub of a property that has been breaching TCEQ regulations for Silica dust for over a year! They’re about to find what it really costs to clean the place up and make it safe for a new tenant. If they had returned my calls and messages months ago, I’d have been in the property they were leasing that I originally wanted. I’d have been willing to work with their needs for me as a tenant on that particular building because it was perfect for my needs and not contaminated with State Regulated cancer causing contamination, but they repeatedly dropped the ball, then wasted another week of my time showing me places in the ghetto, with blatant shared tenant issues, and then expect me to cough up thousands of dollars of labor to clean up their negligence for allowing a business to operate illegally on one of their properties?! Lol, picture Bugs Bunny sating “NO”
Whatever you do stay as far away from this company as possible. As unprofessional of an experience one will have doing any kind of business with a property management company.
