Patio has a great view and breeze but very little afternoon shade. Service is slow. 12 tables 9 staff and only one person stopping by every 20 minutes. Avoid the salads. See photo. It was a 15 dollar bag of spring mix plus 3 dollar chicken. 18 dollar salad is embarrassing. Several ingredients were missing. Tacos were fine but underwhelming. 5 years ago Z’Tejas was a very different experience

Food and service was good. View from the patio is beautiful and fireplace felt nice BUT tables were VERY close together. I could have reached out and touched the guy sitting next to me who was in a group of four. It made for a very tense dining experience. Won’t be back until after the pandemic.
Nice restaurant and spacious bar. Great lunch & brunch menu. COVID spacing and temp check taken upon entering. Chicken-fried steak was delicious, yummy & batter a tad spicy. All delicious & served hot with great mashed potatoes & grilled veggies w/ Brussels sprouts.
The patio is very nice, though the tables are a little closer than I'd prefer during a pandemic. The food was very good if a little on the small side, portion-wise. The service was outstanding.
The service and drinks were nice, but the lobster taco was unsatisfactory due to the grey lobster meat I received. Thankfully the server disposed of it when she noticed that I only took one bite. She was very sweet and attentive for sure!
