Deliberately provide bogus requirements for a refund on your credit card, in an attempt to keep from having to give you your money back. If they claim there are any hoops you have to jump through "for PCI compliance", THEY ARE LYING. I worked in PCI compliance for several years, and none of the requirements I was just told (must do the refund over the phone, must provide them the credit card details over the phone) have ANYTHING to do with PCI compliance. They're just trying to make the process more painful for the customer, so that they can give you a "store credit" card, and not take a hit to their bottom line. SCAMMERS.
