Avon by the Sea is a lovely NJ shore town not too far from NYC.I enjoyed the beach; however, I was disappointed by the heavy crowds, worse than Jones beach and lack of respect for social distancing. I did not care for a lack of places to change clothes or the tiny public bathroom provided. A large sign on the bathroom said no changing. Public beaches should provided a good shower as well.
