Dropped by unannounced yesterday to purchase some of their coffee in person, not knowing that we should have purchased online. Nevertheless, they were most gracious to us and filled our order while we waited. It is the best coffee we have ever had in this morning’s brew. We will certainly be an online customer in the future. Sterling customer service...would give them 10 stars if we could!!

I ONLY order coffee from here. And buy it in bulk. My last order was on March 2nd and it arrived March 4th with regular shipping! I love the extra small bags of coffee that are thrown in when I buy a 5lb bag. It allows me to explore other flavors. Our favorites are Jamaican Me Happy and Chocolate Avalanche. A local Café had a coffee that was incredible. It had a deep, robust flavor that had different depths of 'toasted' and a sweet ending. It was Jamaican Me Happy! So, I order directly from ESCR, the beans are always fresh!
A local business. Great selection. Much, much better than mass produced. Will include a free bag with your order (just politely say what you would like it to be). I live two towns away so my order arrived via USPS in three days. Buy a bag or two. Support a neighborhood business
I am not a coffee drinker, but I had Chocolate Avalanche about five years ago at a conference, and can no longer seem to remember that I don't drink coffee! I agree with all who said great local feel and service, Energizer bunny delivery speed, lovely fresh flavors and beans, easy to use website, and exceptional generosity - every time you order you get additional surprise coffee for free. Makes supporting local business a real joy...

My family and I live in NJ but my wife is from Avon NY so we travel up there every year and spend the Christmas Holiday with her family. For many years we received a pound of Coffee from Evening Star Coffee Roasters and it quickly became one of my favorite gifts each year. In 2019 We changed our gift giving practice and I didn't get any coffee (didn't expect it but I was hoping). Then the pandemic hit and I decided to order 5lbs of whole bean coffee online and I found it so easy and so fresh I've happily continued to order the coffee every few months when I start to run low. The service is outstanding and the coffee is very very very good. I highly recommend trying their coffees. I usually order either the Blonde roast or Fire and Ice.
We have been buying Evening Star Coffee almost since it was established, and we have been purchasing ground coffee online in a variety of flavors. I find that service is prompt and the coffee extremely fresh when it arrives. I also order as a regular gift for my daughter out of the area, and again, it works well. She likes medium-bodied coffees and tells me it is better than anything she can find in New York City. That says something. We appreciate a good bold coffee and have found Evening Star El Salvador and Black Knight particular favorites. Supporting a local business that strives for quality is our goal.
I have one indulgence and it's a good cup of coffee in the morning. Forget Starbucks, Green Mountain, Dunkin Donuts. Evening Star provides quality coffee with such a wide range of flavors and intensity it would be difficult for anyone not to find one they enjoy. And, this is huge, you can get an actual pound of coffee, not 10 or 12 oz. Service is excellent. I live in Syracuse NY and received my coffee within 2 days. The aroma was heaven. My favorite is their signature blend but give others a try. You won't be sorry if you enjoy a really good cup of coffee.
