I had an ultrasound. The receptionist gave me paperwork to fill out and I reminded her that I had checked in on line. She then agreed. Obviously going by rote. The waiting room was too full. My appointment was at 7 am and while I was still waiting, a woman came in with a 7:30 am appointment and was not told to wait in her car. I had been called a day or two earlier to confirm the appointment and was told to have a full bladder. I asked what that meant and was told to drink some water. The tech asked how much water I had drunk and I had 17 oz. She said I was supposed to have drunk 32 oz but this was not stated on the script or in the lengthy online check in process or by the person confirming my appointment. Later, I dug around and found it on the website but SimonMed had 2 opportunities to tell me and did not. THE TECH HAD NOT HAD ANY COVID VACCINES. Why not? Easy place a half mile away on McDowell for health care professionals only. The check in process was sent by text and the app did not accept any photos. I had to use my computer instead.
