Great school, AMAZING instructors and staff, my tip is stay out of chs. If you come to school prepared with a willingness to learn, and with motivation then you will learn lots of amazing things. If you don't, and are just in your phone all the time you won't learn jack #!t and are also just wasting your time and money. You get out of it what you put into it but definitely a great investment into your future!

A complete scam. Go to a real school. Not this place. They will give you the run-a-round constantly, if you make payments for past student loans and ask for a receipt via email you wont get one and will get the answer on the phone \your accounts are not on our system\. Also was transferred to the wrong department twice and was transferred to voice mail. Pathetic \school\.

A waste of time and money. You're better off going straight into the field than going into debt for it. Dont even waste your time trying to communicate with them. They won't answer your emails or call you back. UTI was nothing but a bunch of empty promises for me. Once I graduated I even had to try and get a hold of them for my diploma and it took about 4 months for me to receive it.

The school is great but be mindful of the industry. A flat rate technician gets paid differently than most jobs. Automotive dealerships are mostly warranty pay and maintenance. Warranty pay is usually 70% of customer pay services. Some dealerships don’t have good customer retention, so that’s why it’s just warranty and oil changes. Therefore the return on your investment, aka your tools and education, is terrible compared to other industries. Dealerships have earned the nickname Stealerships across the community. The money is at independent shops. Just make sure they support your credentials like ASE’s and will buy you the special tools when the job requires it because there are dishonest independent shops, too. I don’t regret my training because that’s how I met my spouse. I do wish that I had more knowledge about the automotive industry in the beginning stages of my career.
