Love this place and have been coming here since 1992! Family owned and they are as nice as can be. Can't wait to be able to enjoy a meal inside the restaurant.

Being native to the region the food was amazing the fritanga was good. Felt like moms cooking.
Called in order at 5:29pm ... they said 25 minutes... got there in 30 ... cuz i know my paisanos are super slow... got there .. paid right away ... and waited .. and waited.. and waited... 6:19.. finally she says .. i'm packing it up right now ...WHAT!! Service has always been sketchy ...but food \was\ good and the only Nica food within 30 minutes of my house. But.. this is ridiculous... and the gallo pinto was mushy ... and the churrasco burned. Wow.. my peeps ... a little more love and respect for our Nica food ..goes a long way!! Are these new owners? Pero, por favor . Necesitamos un nuevo restaurante Nica .. en San Gabriel .. quien se anima.?
I order from el gallo pinto at least once a week, I have tried the salpicon, vigoron and lengua from 3 different Nicaraguan restaurant, definitely they make it the best.
Food is always good. Feels like I'm back in Nicaragua everytime I go... the customer service always varies, not always the best but regardless, great place!
