Food presentation was very nice. But quantity wise wasn't that filling. You get liquored coffee- this was something different for me. Pretty expensive (may be because the DC is pretty high end living).

The food here was delicious! It wasn’t too heavy for the type of food it was. Flavors were spot on and not too overwhelming. I would definitely come back!
Excellent experience. Great food. Good service (could be better) but overall loved this place. Highly recommended to all.
Stopped here for a late supper. Enjoyed the salmon and cauliflower starter. Salmon was cooked excellently with nice crispy skin. The dish came with a delicate light fish stock that I wish I could have drank with some rice noodles. Delicious broth. For dessert, had the light Belgian waffle. Service was top notch.
Granted, I was here at a 8:30 on a Friday morning but it was weird. My fiancé and I were the only ones here which made it awkward but we wanted to try the restaurant. So we ordered our meals which they have you walk up to the bar and place your order. When I got my [egg in a waffle] the batter wasn’t cooked all the way. Weird meal, three stars for ambiance and friendly staff.
I went for an early birthday lunch and enjoyed the DC Restaurant Week special menu. I had the pumpkin soup, the salad with chicken, candied nuts, fruit, red onions, and balsamic , and shared desserts_ bread pudding and sweet Belgian waffle with red pears. Everything was divine. Our service was excellent. It was bright and cozy inside.
One of the few places that serves breakfast in this area. Menu is truly gourmet while being reasonably priced. The waffles are so light and fluffy. They also make rheir own donuts. The coddled agg has a mixes vwv mash on bottom with hollandaise foam on top (that's the one served in a mason jar). Weekend brunch is great. Tried the cornmeal waffle w pulled pork.Sooooo good!
Excellent Belgium food. The poached eggs and salmon for brunch was delicious. It was an interesting take on salmon eggs Benedict. Instead of English muffin, the poached eggs, bernaise sauce, and salmon was on top of bread cubes. The whole thing mixed together with asparagus had a light and delicate flavor. The cappacinno was served in a very interesting cup. It was a bit milky but I liked it. The service was good but it was a busy Saturday and we didn't require much service. Overall, excellent food and a nice, relaxing experience, with a contemporary vibe.
