Don't get me wrong, the people here are great. When you call the customer toll free number, they don't seem to care if they want your business at all. Mediacom needs to understand, there are options and people will do that if they aren't treated right.

Chris from technical suppourt is top dawg! Ext. 5173. I can tell you what ever they are paying this guy isnt enough. The value of information i gained about internet and tech from this gentleman is tremendous! Had every answer and some for all my questions. The honesty, character, and knowledge speeks volumes to me as a potential customer. Just really poking around to see options but, mediacom i assure you is my front runner thus far. Thanks mr. Mediacom is a joke. Just upgraded our internet speed and now I can't get any of my devices to hook up to the wifi! When you ask customer service for help they tell you there isn't anything they can do about it!! Horrible connection horrible customer service. over priced for what you get! Don't recommend for anyone!

While services are okay, customer service is the WORST. We began paying 40 for a plan that is now costing us 69.99. Thirty dollars more the exact same plan!? What’s worse is that they offer this same plan to new customers right now for 35.99 while I, a loyal customer for 3 years am paying double that. As a marketing manager, let me tell you how backwards this is, keeping a customer earns you multiple times more than earning new customers—Customer retention is key!! When we called to inquire about this, it was clear they didn’t care if they kept our business or not. We will be moving our services.

Techs we friendly and gave great customer service but where they fall is the fact they wont do anything to remedy a fault as to fix their equipment at the pole to get customers back that have been customers over a year. Was told that we wont fix the problem even they know what it is without a tech reporting the problem even though they know what it is and the address having current service. Wont even do what it,takes to satisfy a customer. For internet providers word of mouth is major as of right now i wonder why people will put of with such poor attempt at service from anyone else other than the techs
