Currently preparing for our wedding dance here! Sylvia is the best! She is incredibly patient, creative, and professional. Also very responsive and flexible, I actually called around to other dance centers in the area and would never get any response or were unfriendly. On our first day, we learned how to do like 3 different dance moves and at least a 1/3 of our dance routine! And both of us have absolutely zero dance experience. Learning to dance has been one of the most enjoyable and fun parts of this stressful wedding process and helps us work as a team. Best decision ever! If you are looking for a great place to just begin your dancing journey or to fine tune your expert dancing prowess, Ballroom Dance Center is the place! :)

It all started when my fiancé and I – two people who have never danced before – decided we wanted to do something more than stand and sway for our first dance at our wedding. We decided to try out an introductory lesson at the Ballroom Dance Center. We were surprised by how much fun we had! That first lesson exceeded our expectations in every possible way and we were hooked! We ended up not only taking dance lessons for our first dance together, but also for our father-daughter dance and mother-son dance. We cannot say enough nice things about Sylvia! She choreographed three unique dances that were appropriate for our skill level and athletic abilities. My father had recently had his shoulder replaced, and Sylvia adapted our dance in a way that would not aggravate his injury. Sylvia is so gifted when it comes breaking down a dance in a way that is manageable. We never felt overwhelmed when we were learning our dances. As two busy people working hard and planning a wedding, we were so grateful that Sylvia was flexible and would work around our schedule. Sylvia is a joy to work with, she is knowledgeable, creative and fun. We also appreciated her amazing sense of humor and infinite patience. Dancing has become such a special part of our lives. We are so pleased with our experience at the Ballroom Dance Center and we would highly recommend it! We can’t wait to start taking regular dance lessons again after our honeymoon.

I came to this studio a month ago for lessons with my husband in preparation for our daughter's wedding. We loved it so much that we purchased an introductory package to get ready for the big event. I was completely blown away by the great customer service at this studio. It is a truly unique space with beautiful windows looking out into a courtyard. Our instructor Paul has been very helpful in teaching us the steps to the Foxtrot and Rumba. We are enjoying lessons and recommend this center to anyone looking for wedding prep.

This is a great local place to take any type of dance lessons. You need not feel intimidated if you're not a dancer. All the instructors here are positively reinforcing and supportive. My partner is not a dancer, and is quite comfortable with our lessons. Another thing I like about this place is that it's not too 'slick' -- you don't feel like you're being 'sold a bill of goods' by some sleazy dance place. It's not a chain; it's privately owned, which I also appreciate. Sylvia (the owner) is just fabulous! She's a great dancer, and really listens and tailors lessons to your specific preferences. We started out doing more 'formal' dances, and soon realized we wanted to be able to dance socially. She easily switched things for us. She's super creative, always coming up with new events and themes for parties. Also, they have 'nights out' at local dance clubs with live music, so you can practice with your own partner or her professional instructors. She's also super flexible when it comes to scheduling lessons. AND, you get free weekly group lessons when you're a student here! Not to mention, her Zumba class (Friday mornings) is great! And super reasonable!

Awesome place! The best studio we have danced with. The instructors challenge us to be better dancers, every time. This is an amazing dance studio for anyone who wants to learn to dance and take themselves out on any dance floor! This studio instills confidence, they are that good.
