Basically they was very helpful in the mid 2000's but i called them for help when my aunt died and they where not very helpful with a mental health crisis and some of there employees are not that great at crisis situations but the 2nd shift was great but the first shift was a joke

I recently completed my stay at their new location and I must say when I got there I wanted to leave ever day for the first 3 days and not because of the program but because of the demons in my head telling me to go but by the time it was time for me to go I didn't want to leave. The staff was very helpful and sincerely cared and made me feel safe. The groups were so touching and deep that I was motivated to do the right things when I left and the food was great. Any program you go to has strict rules to follow and that's all in putting structure back in our lives. I really appreciate the BCRI program and staff and hopefully I won't need them as a patient but I would love to be apart of their team in the future.

Be very, very, very careful before you call. Make sure that you have tried to use every coping skill/tool that you have and practice. After not dealing with them after many years I was in such a place that I didn't think that I had any other choices. If and when this happens again I will go though all of my tools/coping skills twice and then try to speak to someone that I trust before I go there again. They have not changed but gotten dirtier. They misled me in to believing that I was going to their place. Once they got me in the car I ended up at Bayview Medical Center when I was finally seen the Psychiatrist apologized and knew that I didn't belong there. I had not been hospitalized for many years. I don't mind sharing this publicly as it is important information for those who this may happen to. I know that it has. I had quite the educational experience. If you need to be there let them help you. I saw people who needed and got the help that they needed. I'm glad that they did. However it was really hard for me as I needed to go home. I'm just grateful to be here now. Take care of yourself the best that you can. Make sure that you have a support system as they may be able to help you out of nightmare. :)
