The bathrooms have mold. Your asked to pay program fees and they're completely understaffed. You have to do chores and the food is so disgusting.. I had to literally leave out to go get food because the kitchen smell like a busted septic tank.. when it rains the place floods up to your knees

I stayed at Baltimore Outreach for 4 months and was kicked out for smoking a cigarette after 12 with a staff member. Something that people do ALL the time. the staff member was fired but I had recorded another staff member doing it and she still had her job, and the people who was with her got to stay. Ms. Linda, the director is a real piece of work. She kicks people out of the shelter for the fun of it. She is disrespectful to your children. One time she made uncooked fries and burnt chicken tenders and told us that if the fries weren't done, to heat them up in the microwave. I've seen this lady turn down people who we're looking for shelter and laugh at them with another staff member as soon as they left the office. She does not give out donations so if you were planning on donating you might as well send them to salvation army because that's where they get sent to when you take them there. Then she says that if we work or receive an income, then we have to pay a monthly fee because it covers the cost of the shelters expenses. Mind you, they have mold in the bathroom that is covered up with paint, they weren't changing the filters and was told by one of the new staff members that it was becoming a problem and not to mention the kids getting rashes from the shelter being as dirty as it is. The night she told me I was being exited, I did not receive any list of shelters, no help with finding a new one. she said i would get a list in the morning but i had to leave the shelter with my 2 year old by 10 in the morning. That's usually how she does it, she kicks out women and children with their kids with no place to go and if you don't leave by the time they tell you then she will call the police on you. This lady has no heart and no concern for homeless people.
