Nice little museum to check out. A lot of locomotives to see and train cars. Extremely hot in the buildings when I visited in the summer. But still well worth the trip to check it out while I was visiting Washington DC

Great museum for the train enthusiast. All life-sized trains and a few are open to browse the inside. For a few extra dollars you can ride a train. Don't miss the model trains and the other building with even more trains! If you go in the warm weather you'll probably get to see the model trains running outside. Birthday party bookings available. Free parking.

We come to the Railroad during the reciprocity with the Maryland Zoo in January and February. Trains are just plain fun! The train ride now stops at the Baltimore Police Mounted unit stables.... and the horses are awesome! Keep up the great work B&O!

A great tour of the restoration of no. 51 diesel Electric locomotive built in 1937. The restorer who ran the tour was very knowledgeable and was open to many questions.

Wow! We honestly did this on a whim. How lucky we are! We walked into their New Year's celebration which was lovely. Even without that, the wealth of information, trains cars to touch and be in and the snack area that sold local beer was well worth the visit. Beautiful museum, wonderful trip!
